The most common of canine pests, fleas and ticks, can cause medical problems such as tapeworms, hair loss due to scratching, skin irritations, and allergies. In large numbers, fleas can even cause anemia from blood loss, especially in puppies and kittens, and transmit serious diseases. Dundas Euclid would like to remind you to give your pet a flea and tick preventative.
